Bananaphone

The bananaphone is the second most popular brand of telephone after the handphone (see diagram right). It is like its rival in that it can be used in place of a regular phone - the downside is that, after a week, the bananaphone requires a replacement. Luckily they can be found in plentiful supply in superstores and local markets, meaning there's always time for bananaphones.

To activate a bananaphone, simply peel the skin back and stick the fruit in your ear. Get another person to do the same and it's twice the fun.
